Here are some stories of who and how our love helps!
Thanks to Hearts That Help supporters, Thida of the Cambodian Arts and Scholarship Foundation will receive FULL TUITION for her dream to attend midwifery school this year, “to help so the mother and baby in the province stop to die too much.” Thida will soon turn 19, is very bright and is by far the best of all of CASF’s students in English–critical to know for medical studies. Thida was born into extreme poverty; her mother expressed her gratitude with tears that her daughter will graduate 12th grade and enter higher education!
Thanks to Hearts That Help supporters, Sophorn of the Cambodian Arts and Scholarship Foundation will receive FULL TUITION for her 10th grade education and her hope to become an English teacher, “because English most important for my village and all Cambodian good future in the world”. She is the youngest of six children, all of whom ended their education by the third grade and who work in dire work circumstances. Sophorn is very supported by her family and reportedly makes all of her peers work hard on their studies along with her!

A popular and fun way to educate about social change and health care is through live theater performances! Hearts That Help has an interest in growing this part of our support–through arts and education. The report on how Hearts That Help donations were distributed:

(LOOK CLOSELY AT THE TINY PATIENT THAT WE HELPED WITH DIRECT FUNDS FROM HTH.) “Angkor Hospital For Children’s Emergency/ICU Department just received 5 new suction machines. No sooner had they been unpacked, the need for the machines was emphasized, as one was put immediately to use to save one of AHC’s tiny 2-month premature neonates. The machines are received with deep gratitude to Hearts That Help for their donation of funds for these machines.”
